How to Actually Enjoy Meal Prep
Prep components, not identical containers of the same meal.

Why batch meals get abandoned
Five identical lunches are appealing on Sunday and depressing by Wednesday. Palate fatigue, not laziness, is what sends people back to buying lunch.
The fix is preparing parts rather than finished plates.
Cook components
One grain, one roasted tray of vegetables, one protein, one sauce, something crunchy. Combine them differently each day — bowl, wrap, salad, soup base — and the same ninety minutes yields variety.
Keep sauces separate. Most sad leftovers are just soggy ones.
Right-size the effort
Prep three days, not seven. Food tastes better, waste drops, and the session stays short enough that you will repeat it next week.
Put on music, pour a drink, and treat it as an hour of quiet rather than a chore to endure.
